Gauging interest in four markets
Measuring consumer interest against real designs
Measuring interest against a real design
While there had already been a number of studies measuring consumer interest in agentic commerce, none tested designs that reflected our precise implementation. Our intent was to understand whether consumers would be interested in using an agent powered by our APIs, across four “key moments” where they played a role.
The stimuli reflected the current thinking of the global product and design team, so respondents were reacting to Visa Intelligent Commerce roughly as it would work, rather than to the category as an idea. The study fielded to 4,000 consumers — 1,000 each in the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil and Singapore. Findings were the focus of a later press release in Brazil.
The full case study covers:
- Research objectives, study design, and creation of stimuli
- The decision to include additional markets, and our process for determining which
- High level findings, and their impact
